Karen Sue-A-Quan

Spiritual Life Coach

Karen believes that within every human being is a soul who deserves to be and to feel loved. There is so much beauty all around and within us. Throughout life, we learn through our experiences and when we stay open and curious, we evolve on our soul journey – unfolding our soul’s gift to give.

Meet Karen

Karen Sue-A-Quan is firstly a mother of three beautiful children and wife to her trusted confidante. She continues to balance her time as a spiritual life coach in her own private coaching practice and as a pediatric ICU pharmacist at The Hospital for Sick Children where she is immersed in life stories from her patients.

Through her work as a healer, she sees the power of human life stories, understands the complexities of the mind and body, and believes in the beautiful essence of the soul that is connected to an everlasting Spirit. Karen has a particular interest in pain management.  She has been involved in pain and sedation projects, trained in recognizing and understanding emotional pain, and feels the pain of souls overtaken by the ego.

Through her unique blend of spiritual beliefs and scientific understanding, she helps individuals through teaching, hypnosis, mindfulness, powerful listening, and most importantly – simply caring with her heart for another human being. Her approach is gentle, patient, and consistent for she believes that within every human being is a fragment of light.  Karen believes that love is the answer and the best medicine.

Karen continues to spread her messages of the soul through different mediums – teachings at the university, guest appearances on local television platforms, and as a co-host on an audio podcast.

Life Coach

Helping others to realize that love, kindness, the compassion for self and others is what I mean by spirituality.

Pediatric ICU Pharmacist

Helping others to see the power of their life story and not the problem with it.

Helping others to understand in a simplified way the value of who they are, the preciousness of their life, and the truth, beauty, and goodness of every experience.

When we truly listen, we offer a sacred and holy space for the other to hear themselves sometimes for the very first time.

- Karen Sue-A-Quan

Helping, fixing, and serving represent three different ways of seeing life.  When you help, you see life as weak, when you fix, you see life as broken.  When you serve, you see life as whole.  Fixing and helping may be the work of the ego, and service the work of the soul.
